This training will provide 3.0 CEU hours with the NM Counseling & Therapy Board as well as the NMBoard of Social Work. The purpose of this training is to provide an overview of issues typically seen in children and adolescents and provide information for working with them in both individual and familytherapy settings. This training will provide both education regarding problem areas and symptoms, aswell as provide experiential intervention training.
1. Identify 4-6 typical issues that bring children/adolescents and their families into therapy.
2. Discuss the typical symptoms associated with the identified problem areas.
3. Participate in at least 4 individual therapy interverntions and at least 2 family inverventions.
